The UDA2182 Universal Dual Analyzer is a new, economical, dual input analyzer addition to Honeywell's Smart Sensor product family. The analyzer can accept single or dual inputs from Honeywell pH, ORP, contacting conductivity and dissolved oxygen sensors. For dual units the inputs can be ordered in any combination. The UDA2182 monitors and controls Analytical process variables in applications such as:
DirectLine DL421 pH Transmitter modules are next-generation analytical transmitters that easily interface with Honeywell’s packaged solutions for accurate pH measurement. The pH transmitter eliminates pre-amps in pH applications and is connected directly to a Durafet II, Durafet III, DL2000 glass or HPW7000 pH electrodes. This makes the pH transmitter highly cost effective as it is easy to install, start-up, operate and maintain. Designed to be intrinsically safe, this analytical transmitter’s corrosion-resistant sealed plastic enclosure makes it ideal for harsh environments where moisture, dust and chemicals may be prevalent. A remote mounting option for submersion or special mounting applications connects the electronics module to the pH electrode via a cable. The module can be mounted on a 2-inch pipe, wall or DIN rail.
Equipped with advanced features, the APT4000 pH/ORP analyzer helps diagnose and rectify electronic errors occurring in the transmitter. This pH/ORP analyzer also offers continuous diagnostics for monitoring calibration, cell health and analyzer self-test. The APT4000 pH series works with a variety of Honeywell pH/ORP electrodes including Meredian glass and Durafet II/Durafet III non-glass types. In addition, the process analyzer can be used with a wide variety of other compatible pH and ORP electrodes. An assortment of mounting options (panel, wall or pipe) and accessories ensure easy installation, while its simple operator interface and large front display make it easy to use.
Durafet pH electrodes offer a reliable combination of measuring and reference electrodes and an integral automatic temperature compensator in a one-piece construction and are suited for varying pH and temperature ranges. Housed in a chemically resistant Ryton body, these electrodes serve the need of a variety of industrial or sanitary applications, including neutralization and reagent addition control. A sanitary Durafet III design is also available for food and dairy applications. Durafet III electrodes are designed with a rugged waterproof Vario Pin connector while Durafet II electrodes are available with a PC board connector. These electrodes are compatible with Honeywell’s entire instrumentation range including UDA2182, APT Series and DirectLine® sensor modules.
Honeywell’s 7777 series use either Durafet® II pH (7777D) or Meredian II pH/ORP electrodes that offer a reliable combination of pH measuring and reference electrodes together with an integral automatic temperature compensator in a 1-piece corrosion-resistant molded Ryton body. The Durafet II non-glass sensor is durable and provides exceptionally fast response, making it ideal for a range of in-line applications. It produces low impedance pH signals even at low temperatures with no sodium error or ORP interference. The Durafet II mountings are available for only in-line installations The Meridian II pH/ORP electrodes use glass pH sensors and platinum or gold ORP sensors. These mountings are suitable for in-line and submersion applications.
The HPW7000 Hi-pHurity Water Measurement System is an electrode mounting assembly designed specifically for the difficult pH and ORP measurement in high purity water applications. The special flow chamber and electrode mounting simplifies installation and calibration while providing a pH or ORP measurement that is unsurpassed in accuracy and stability. The HPW7000 combines a specially designed stainless steel stainless steel flow chamber with a measuring/reference electrode system and integral temperature sensor/solution ground. This mounting assembly provides accurate and stable pH and ORP measurement in low conductivity (<10 μmho/cm) water.
The 4973 series ensures reliable, continuous measurement of electrolytic conductivity in industrial water processes where the temperature and pressure limits are high. Made of polyethersulfone (PES) for high-corrosion resistance, the cells are available with titanium electrodes (for 0.01 and 0.1 cell constants) and high-density graphite (for 1.0 and 10.0 cell constants). The wide array of cell constants available makes them ideal for diverse applications. With multiple mounting options such as, flow-thru and in-line, the 4973 series is easy to install. The 4974 style uses this series of cells for sanitary installations. The cells are mounted using an industry standard tri-clamp flange, a common mounting arrangement.
The 4905 series of conductivity cells provides continuous and reliable conductivity measurements under varying temperature and pressure conditions. Constructed with rugged, corrosion resistant material that is guaranteed to last long, this series of conductivity cells is available with nickel, monel or platinum electrodes. An assortment of mounting options, including Quick Disconnect cables, makes it suitable for a wide range of applications and also reduces installation costs.
The Honeywell 5000TC toroidal (electrodeless) conductivity sensor measures the conductivity of solutions from 0.2 to 2000 millisiemens/cm. The sensors can be used for monitoring chemical concentration and salinity as well. The corrosion and fouling-resistant cells are available with a variety of mounting assemblies to ensure compatibility for applications in the chemical, food & dairy, refinery, pulp and paper, metal finishing and wastewater industries. Available in two types of basic sensor forms - the convertible or sanitary style, these conductivity cells come in variety of material types including PEEK, PFA Teflon®, PVDF, and Polypropylene and a range of mounting options that meet diverse application needs. 5000TC toroidal conductivity cells minimize chemical compatibility issues and increase cell reliability.
